Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases to ensure issues don’t impact the live system users.
- Carry out tests on software to search for bugs and issues before release.
- Identify bugs and report them to the development team to be resolved.
- Read documents; you must have a sufficient understanding of technical terminology.
- Develop scripts to validate that applications meet business requirements.
- Research new testing procedures.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance, focusing on mobile application testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, particularly for Android and iOS platforms.
- Knowledge of Android Studio, Xcode, and real device and emulator testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- API testing experience (Postman or similar) is a plus.
- Experience with performance and security testing for mobile applications is an advantage.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the development and application teams to understand software functions and requirements.
- Attention to detail, you will be responsible for ensuring software is consistent and documenting any potential issues.
- Communicate and participate in project meetings to identify issues and discuss solutions.
- Time management skills, to track progress of software development and deliver results to a deadline.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven technical knowledge and hands-on experience with mobile applications.
Salary
- 50000-65000 INR per month
